Refunds: As a non-profit organization, our goal is to maintain the lowest fees possible in an effort to ensure that all individuals are afforded the opportunity to participate in CBAA Lacrosse. Prior to the start of the season, the organization must coordinate equipment, uniforms, insurance, and other administrative items.  These pre-coordinated tasks have associated fees that must be prepaid in order to make the season a success for all.  Therefore, we must uphold a refund policy to ensure no loss of funds to the organization.  Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our refund policy HERE before registering your child/children.

USA Lacrosse Membership: All Players and Coaches must be registered with USA Lacrosse and have a valid USA Lacrosse membership through June 30th of each Season.  Please visit https://www.usalacrosse.com/ to start or renew your membership.  Be sure to note your USA Lacrosse ID, as it will be required when you register.

Volunteer Buyout: CBAA Lacrosse is 100% Volunteer run Non-Profit organization. We need your help.  Volunteer positions are listed below.  If you are unable to volunteer for one of these positions there is a $75.00 VOLUNTEER BUYOUT option available.

Coaching Clearances: Please visit our Coaching Clearance Page to learn more about. CLICK HERE for more information on Clearances.

Coaching Certifications: Please visit our Coaching Certification Page to learn more about. CLICK HERE for more information on Certifications.

Boys Program Notes:

You must Live in CB EastCB West, or Palisades High School Residence Territories to participate in CBAA Lacrosse

New Hope residents are now required by SEPYLA to register with their Program. Any waivers would have to be obtained from the SEPYLA Program leadership.

Waiver Policy for Players that reside out side of the above prescribed CBAA Territories.

  • Grades 3rd thru 8th.  Waivers are not required for KG to 2nd Level.
  • Provide Proof of Registration with their Home Club
  • Provide a completed SEPYLA Waiver – approved by the SEPYLA Competition Committee

Additionally, as a township program CBAA’s mission is to provide Recreational Lacrosse for its constituents and not to act as a Club Lacrosse Team, players from outside of the prescribed CBAA territories will NOT be considered for CBAA 1 Level teams A1, B1, C1.  Players from outside the territory will only be eligible for 2&3 Level teams i.e. A2, A3, B2, B3, C2.

Waitlist: We have implemented a waitlist for each age group, based on the head coach volunteers that have submitted applications to coach. As we receive and accept head coaching applications, we will add additional teams and release the waitlist at that time.

We strongly recommend early registration to ensure your child’s spot is reserved.

  • Although we are an ‘intramural’ program we do ‘travel’ to play away games.  The lacrosse programs do not have enough participants to play just within each program.
  • Boys in 3rd -8th grade will be evaluated for our top competitive teams (A1, B1, C1) at the beginning of the season
  • Boys K-2nd grades will be evaluated to ensure placement on a team that is appropriate for their skill level.
  • Included in the registration fees are uniforms, league fees, league games, ref fees, Irish Skirmish Tournament, Insurance, Herbst Sports complex dues and indoor and outdoor practice field fees.
  • Uniforms (3rd to 8th Grade)  / Pinnies (KG-2nd) can be reused from 2022 & 2023 Season.  New Uniforms/Pinnies are available for purchase as part of registration.

Registration Fees DO NOT Include:

  • Indoor Lacrosse Field Rental or Leagues (except those assigned by CBAA)
  • Extra Tournaments (Skirmish is included)
  • Extra Games or Play Days
  • Referee Fees beyond home game 4 & qualified Playoffs
  • Individual team field rentals (ex. High School Field Rental)

Girls Program Notes:

All players are required to have their own: eye protection for lacrosse, women’s lacrosse stick, and mouthguard

K-2:
* Practices generally start at the end of March / Early April for this age group – there are typically 1 or 2 practices per week at Turk Park in Doylestown
* Practice days will typically be held on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday – the days of the week are availability dependent (coach and field availability)
* Games typically start in April sometime and are held as round robin tournament style games
  • Each team will play 1 to 3 games per Saturday
  • How game structure is setup is coach dependent – here are two recent examples:
    • Older Model: coaches reach out to other clubs and set up play days and rotate game locations (Deep Run, Council Rock, Upper Moreland, CBAA, etc) – 3 or 4 teams show up and play 20 min games in rotating fashion
    • Newer Model: coaches of various clubs agree to play at the same time at the same place each Saturdays and play games there.  This was done the last two seasons and games were held on Upper Moreland High Turf.
  • Games are typically 5 on 5 with the option of someone playing goalie or use of a net blocker and play on a smaller field (half field of full field)
  • Season ends in Mid to Late May
Grades 3 & 4:
* Practices generally start at the end of March / Early April for this age group – there are typically 2 practices per week at Turk Park in Doylestown
* Practice days will typically be held on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday – the days of the week are availability dependent (coach and field availability)
* PAGLA sets schedule for this league
* There are no tryouts but there are evaluations for this age group.  The evaluations are used to set teams that are relatively equal in skill (no A or B level)
* Games typically start in April sometime and are held as round robin tournament style games
  • Each team will play 1 to 3 games per Saturday
  • How game structure is setup:
    • Schedule rotates game locations (Deep Run, Council Rock, Upper Moreland, CBAA, etc) – 3 or 4 teams show up and play 2 to 3 20 min games (typically play then have a break)
    • Entire mini tournament of games lasts approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours each week
  • Games are typically 7 on 7 with the option of someone playing goalie or use of a net blocker and play on a smaller field (half field of full field)
    • Goalie/Net Blocker – 2 Defenders – 3 Midfielders – 2 Attackers for each team as offsides are introduced.  Some teams do not have enough players so a 5 on 5 model is sometimes used
  • Season ends in Mid to Late May with opportunity to play in a tournament that PAGLA hosts on May 18th
Grades 5 & 6:
* There are tryouts at this age group which are held in mid-February
* Practices generally start as early as possible for this age group – there are typically 2 practices per week at Herbst (sometimes basketball courts are used if fields are not playable)
* Practice days will typically be held on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday – the days of the week are availability dependent
* PAGLA sets schedule for this league
* Games typically start in mid-March with scrimmages to kick off season in March 9th
  • How game structure is setup is coach dependent:
    • Schedule is set by PAGLA organization for this league
    • PAGLA maintains standings for Playoffs based on score reporting
  • Games are full field 12 on 12 ( 1 Goalie, 4 Defenders, 3 Midfielders, 4 Attackers) with two 20-min halves – high school rules with exception of checking; this division has modified checking
  • Season ends in Mid to Late May with opportunity to play in a tournament that PAGLA hosts on May 19th with playoffs taking place May 13th to May 23rd if qualify
Grades 7 & 8:
* There could be tryouts at this age group which would be held in mid to late-February if necessary
* There has not been a team due to lack of interest for the past few seasons
* Practices will be limited as girls in this age group typically play middle school lacrosse and club lacrosse during the season.  If practices are held they will be at Herbst or Turk
* PAGLA sets game schedule for this league
* Games typically start in mid-March with scrimmages to kick off season in March 10th
