IRISH SKIRMISH 2026

IRISH SKIRMISH

The Irish Skirmish is a tournament style weekend that has deep roots in CBAA Lacrosse.  I am sure many returning families will agree it is a great memory and a highlight for many of the kids spring season!

CBAA Lacrosse has been fortunate to have an amazingly dedicated and proactive leader of the Irish Skirmish for the past ~ 5 years along with all the volunteers that help leading up to and around the event.

We are actively looking for a volunteer(s) to take the lead on running the Irish Skirmish for 2026.

The volunteer(s) would be responsible for the end-to-end planning and would build and run the sub-committees prior to the event and on the weekend itself.  There is an established playbook and we can also leverage the prior leader to help guide the planning.

The event typically takes places in April – and it is important to get started on this work soon in order to secure the weekend, engage with the other teams to build the registration and to execute all the pre planning for the event.

This is a great opportunity to shape a community event and add your own impact on the Irish Skirmish.  Any volunteer(s) interested in running this event are welcome.  You don’t need to have deep lacrosse experience to volunteer.
